He loves going for walks.
The reason is that he can see so many different things. He can find so many different things.
The other day, while he was walking, he spotted a huge, really huge rainbow. When he told his mom about it, she was delighted, smiling with such a sweet expression.
Today, he’s looking for something else to tell his mom about, just like that.
“Ah!”
He found something.
It was a very curious shape. Something shaped like a mortar.
“What is this?”
He didn’t know. Just then, a friend came by and explained.
“Oh, that’s an antlion pit! Amazing!”
“This is an antlion pit?”
“Yeah, my dad told me about it the other day. Once ants fall in, they can’t escape and get eaten.”
“Really?”
He was amazed.
And he thought, “Maybe today, instead of smiling, Mom will be surprised.”
